Each sprint has its own goal(issues and bugs that are to be resolved by the time that sprint ends) which is set at the start of the sprint. If a new bug comes up, unless it's critical, it's registered in the system and will be scheduled to be fixed in a future sprint.
This is because the goal of the current sprint must be met. You do not work on new a bug that was just registered, because it is not in the team's goal for the current sprint.

Yeah, it's dumb. You assign the bug to a developer and you also ensure there is regression testing, code review and whatnot before checkin. Then the finished code is deployed to production and usually by another team, unless you're using modern DevOps.
Or you could just screw all of that and code directly on your production box. Worth a go.

The one industry which I almost universally expected coders to write their code in English and you see on their monitors it's all in their native language tongue. Very strange.

there are voice-over apps you can download to change your voice. It's quite fun. You can download one with Stewie Griffin and get a hilarious reaction when you speak to your team online.

Ahh yes companies that still rely on "Hero" developers because their code is dogshit in the first place, the company refused to invest in refactoring for 15 years or only one person is left who knows how the system works. NOICE!
